The Real Talk video series was created by youth, for youth; exploring real conversations and lived experiences surrounding alcohol/drug use, the role it plays in young people’s lives, and what they would like to see changed in their community. The project challenges the normalization of alcohol/drug use and encourages a new conversation around healthy choices, connection, and wellness.

The powerful theme that emerged was the idea of replacing unhealthy coping strategies with positive ways to “fill up your cup” through friendship, recreation, creativity, community involvement, and activities that support mental well-being.
