“ Hi there! I’m Sierrah Bennett, and this is my second year on the Lloydminster Youth council. Although I’ve only been on the council for a short period of time, I am so very grateful for all the friends I’ve made and the opportunities I’ve had in my time involved in this organization. After High School, I plan to go to University to obtain a Bachelor of Education degree, as well as have some sort of career in the videography/photography industry. I am a two time Lakeland Regionals Skills Canada Gold medalist in the Video Production category, as well as a Top 5 Competitor in the 2020 Virtual Skills Alberta Competition. I love videography and photography so much because it is such a fun way that you can express your ideas and creativity with others beyond words. Being involved in things such as the Lloydminster Youth Council that make a difference and have a positive impact on people’s lives is something that makes me so incredibly happy. It always lifts my spirits when I see others happy and having a good time. Happiness and joy is something we all need, especially right now, and I’m extremely thankful that I have the opportunity to bring joy to others in the community through this council.”
